2024-25 Religious Education

Hard to believe it’s almost that time of year again, isn’t it! As we hear the ads for Back to School shopping, we are also called to Kress Hall for Religious Ed classes. We have another exciting year planned!

Interested in teaching as a Catechist? A meeting will be hosted in Kress Hall on Wednesday, Sept 18th beginning at 6pm (doors open at 5:30 for social time). We are looking for Confirmation Catechists, as well as teachers and aides for all grades.

Religious Ed classes are Wednesday nights and slated to start October 2nd this year. The end of August we will provide the schedule and registration information. PreK – 6th grade classes will be held from 5:30-6:30pm in Kress Hall. 7th grade – Confirmation class will be held from 7-8pm in Kress Hall.

Cathedral School Preview Night

Cathedral School registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on February 1st, for Preschool through 8th grade.   We offer 3K & 4K preschool programs that are half day or full day. 

Join us for our Preschool Preview night on January 30 and our K-8 Preview Night on February 1 to meet the staff, tour classrooms, and ask questions.

Cathedral School Preschool

Cathedral School continues our tradition of 3 year-old and 4 year-old Preschool, with enrollment opening February 1, 2024 for the 2024/2025 school year. Preschool classes are 5 days a week with half-day or full day options available. Before and After school care is available for Preschool students through our Extended Care program. Religious Education Registration

Welcome back, families! Registration for the 2023/24 school year is now open for Wednesday Night Religious Education at the Cathedral. This is open to all families at Cathedral, Holy Assumption, St. Anthony in Superior, and St. William.

Classes start on 9/20 

K-6 attend from 5:30-6:30 and 7-11 from 7:00-8:00

Construction Update

The front steps and parking lot will be under construction from approximately June 5, 2023-July 29, 2023. During this time there will be no daily Mass at the Cathedral. Instead, Tuesday through Friday, Mass will be at St. Anthony in Superior at 8:30 am. On the weekends, Mass will be at the Cathedral at the regularly scheduled times, and a handicapped entrance will be available.

Continue to use extra care around the construction area during our concrete/blacktop project

  • NOTE: it changes every week, so be prepared and cautious
  • NOTE: please only park in marked spaces; do not park in the fire lane or on/near the plaza
  • NOTE: we will use social media, the parish app, and Facebook to announce changes
