Can you stay after the 10:30 Mass (approximately 11:30 am) tomorrow?
Cathedral School and Cathedral of Christ the King are putting in a new garden, to be used and maintained by the students of the school. Volunteers are needed to help put the garden in, initial soil digging and preparation, seeding grass and initial planting. Adults can help with the more intensive digging while kids can help with weeding, grass seeding and mulching near the sidewalks. Through this project, the students will learn about health, nutrition and nature. This a fun way to introduce students (and community members) to new vegetables. Students will also get to maintain and upkeep the garden throughout the school year, while the community will be able to enjoy the progress of the garden as it grows. Students and families are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear that day. Sign up to help below
